Dear Business Owner:
We are happy to share that the La Mariposa Parent Teacher Association is busy planning for our annual Jog-A-Thon. This year’s Jog-A-Thon will take place Friday, November 3, 2023. As this is our largest annual fundraiser; these funds sponsor year-long programs including Physical Education, busses for field trips, Art Instruction and so much more – all to further enrich our children’s learning experiences. However, with fluctuating budgets over the last few years, our school looks towards our community for support.
Thanks to 2022’s generous sponsors and student fundraising, La Mariposa PTA raised over $35,000 and was able to fund the following:
- Physical Education, Maker Space Instruction and Supplies
- Library books, Art Instruction, Field Trips, Assemblies and Special Events
- Students’ Groups such as Student Leadership, Camarillo Academic Olympics and Peer Buddies
- Grade Level funds to go directly to the classroom and be used at the teacher’s discretion
Our current enrollment for Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade is 617 students. This is a significant number of students, and we’d like to ask if you would be interested and willing to sponsor our annual Jog-A-Thon with a tax-deductible donation. Here are our levels of sponsorship:
Platinum School Sponsor - $1500
- Your company logo will be placed on the back of over 650 t-shirts that will be distributed to students, faculty, and parent volunteers – and worn on the day of the Jog-A-Thon and throughout the school year to show school spirit.
- Your company logo will be advertised all year, especially at the Jog-A-Thon and Auction.
- Your business website link will be placed on our PTA website as well as marketed through our weekly parent newsletter for the entire school year.
Gold Sponsor - $1000
- Your company logo will be placed on the back of over 650 t-shirts that will be distributed to students, faculty, and parent volunteers – and worn on the day of the Jog-A-Thon and throughout the school year to show school spirit.
- Your business logo will be displayed on promotional banners and your business website link will be placed on our school website and marketed through our weekly parent newsletter through December 2022.
Silver Sponsor - $500
- Your company name will be placed on the back of over 650 t-shirts that will be distributed to students, faculty, and parent volunteers – and worn on the day of the Jog-A-Thon and throughout the school year to show school spirit.
- Your business logo will be displayed on promotional banners and your business website link will be placed on our school website and marketed through our weekly parent newsletter until the Jog-A-Thon.

In addition to supporting La Mariposa Elementary School and your community, your tax-deductible donation will provide a great advertising opportunity for your business. Jog-A-Thon Sponsorship can also count towards individual student prizes. Non-monetary donations are also welcome. Please contact us with any questions.
