Jog-A-Thon Guest Donations 2024

We are excited to share that La Mariposa’s Annual Jog-A-Thon is back this year! Our theme this year is TIGERS RUN WILD. We are looking forward to incorporating fun activities leading up to this year’s Jog-A-Thon.

The Jog-A-Thon will be held at school on Friday, November 15^th and we welcome families to attend to cheer on our students. Grade level jog times will be provided by your teacher as the date gets closer.

The Jog-A-Thon is one of only two major fundraisers coordinated by the La Mariposa School Parent Teacher Association. The funds that are raised provide programs beyond our school’s budget, including:

Physical education for every grade level
Fully funding of field trips, assemblies – as well as other special events like Earth Day, Red Ribbon Week, Ability Awareness Week, and more!
Library books and Maker Space equipment & supplies
Student Groups such as Student Leadership, Camarillo Academic Olympics, Super Quiz team & Peer Buddies

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000. If every student collects $65.00, we can exceed our fundraising goal and will be able to provide all of the programs described above – and then some!
