The Dance-A-Thon is one of only two major fundraisers coordinated by the La Mariposa School Parent Teacher Association. The funds that are raised provide programs beyond our school’s budget, including:
- Physical education for every grade level
- Grade-level enrichment funds for classrooms
- Full funding for field trips, assemblies, and special events like Earth Day, Red Ribbon Week, and Ability Awareness Week
- Library books and Maker Space equipment & supplies
- Student groups such as Student Leadership, Camarillo Academic Olympics, Super Quiz Team, and Peer Buddies
